Adi-CAC

CAC2

Adi-CAC- is insulation that is placed around a charge air cooler. It ensures that the surface temperature of the charge air cooler is at the correct level so that SOLAS requirements are met. The product is specifically designed for improving personal safety regarding burns.

The traditional insulation in coolers meets the SOLAS requirements at first, but in heavy use, wear and tear resulting from repeated dismantling/reinstallation during servicing operations quickly reduces the insulation performance of traditional solutions. Replacing these creates insulation waste that must be processed appropriately. Compared to traditional alternatives, the Adi-CAC solution is long-lived and easy to use.

Thanks to the modular structure of the product, the insulation performance of Adi-CAC can be increased according to the customer’s requirements. The product also meets ATEX requirements.

LONG LIFE AND QUICK TO DISMANTLE AND INSTALL – THE MOST ECONOMICALLY ADVANTGEOUS INSULATION SOLUTION

Adi-CAC is constructed of metal modules attached to each other. The insulating material is encased inside the modules. Thanks to its modular structure, the product is easy to install, dismantle and reinstall. No special tools or employees specialised in installation are needed to open the module, as the lock can be opened with a normal hex-key. The modular components are light and easy to handle. Servicing can be carried out quickly and easily by one person.

The modular structure gives the product long life: it can be removed and reinstalled numerous times, while its insulation performance remains exactly as efficient as when new.

This combination of qualities makes the product’s life-cycle costs extremely low. Taking the product’s total costs into account, this is a considerably more affordable investment than traditional methods of insulation.

ADVANCED LOCKING SYSTEM IMPROVES PERSONAL AND FIRE SAFETY

One vital component of the solution is its advanced locking system. It is located inside the insulation module, ensuring that the seams of the modules adhere tightly to each other. This prevents heat loss. Thanks to the locking system and the tight seams, the product will continue to satisfy the SOLAS requirements year after year.
