Adiabatix Welcomes a New Designer to the Team

Sami Leskinen siistitty

In November, Sami Leskinen joined Adiabatix as Designer. For Sami, a passion for engineering started early. As a child, he once accompanied his parents – transportation entrepreneurs – to view new vehicles. He was shown drawings of a bus and was amazed by the intricate designs and the creativity and skill involved.

“Design engineering allows you to test solutions and ideas before they take their physical form, which fascinates me. Drawing has always been my strength, and today I have around 10 years of experience in mechanical design”, Sami explains.

After earning his Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and Production Technology – majoring in Mechanical and Structural Design – in 2017, Sami has gathered comprehensive design expertise on diverse projects, including marine doors, nuclear waste solutions, and heavy-duty vehicles. His expertise in sheet metal products, and even in Adiabatix’s design software, has ensured a smooth transition into his new role.

“I have been working at Adiabatix for a couple of months and really enjoyed my time here. We have a great team and there is a strong focus on employee well-being. Collaboration and helping each other are vital in any work community.”

As he embarks on his path at Adiabatix, Sami is particularly drawn to the challenges of nuclear power projects and the high standards they demand.

“I’m excited about tackling challenging projects, regardless of the field. I love solving problems – it keeps my mind sharp. I’m also looking forward to traveling to sites and seeing our designs come to life.”

We warmly welcome Sami to our team!
